Christmas Present...

What should I buy for my wife (still my girlfriend) for the coming Christmas?

I was thinking of an MP3 player (in particular, Creative MuVo Slim 256MB). It's not something latest and actually quite inexpensive relative to other branded MP3 players. I'd asked the price in one shop in Low Yat Plaza, it was RM300 sometime back in November. Some particulars about this player:

FEATURES
  • Only 7mm thick
  • Super Fast USB 2.0 - transfer music and data up to 40x faster than USB 1.1
  • Built-in FM and FM recorder with 32 presets
  • Integrated voice recorder with built-in microphone
  • 5 band custom equalizer and four equalization presets to match your musical tastes (Jazz, Rock, Pop & Classic)
  • Comes with high quality Neodymium Earphones
  • Removable Li-ion battery recharges via USB - up to 17 hours* of continuous music playback
  • Drag and drop songs and data files between the MP3 player and your computer easily
  • Stores data files such as photos and presentations
  • High-resolution LCD shows player status, track details (ID3 tag support)
  • Easy menu and music navigation with rocker button
  • Full play mode control including Shuffle modes and Resume
  • Easy folder / album navigation

I didn't bought it because I'm struggling with the "Asset/Liability" thought - It says you have to buy more asset (that gain you money) instead of liability if you want to be rich someday; it's a fundamental get-rich formula emphasized in "Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money--That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not!" by Robert T. Kiyosaki and Sharon L. Lechter.

Anyway, afterall I still need to buy my wife something for the FIRST Christmas we will be spending together after we going out together; so recently I was thinking about this again, but this time iPod nano comes into my mind:

iPod nano Features

  • Holds up to 1,000 songs and full-color album art
  • Only 3.5 x 1.6 x 0.27 inches and 1.5 ouncesBright 1.5-inch color LCD display
  • Up to 14 hours of battery life(1)Apple Click Wheel
  • Charges and syncs via USB
  • Accessory-compatible Dock connector
  • Completely skip-free playback
  • Works with Mac OS X or Windows 2000/XP
  • Plays music, podcasts and audiobooks
  • Holds up to 25,000 photos(2)
  • Syncs contacts, calendars and to-do lists

Of course, I'll have to pay for about tripple the price of MuVo Slim 256Mb, but I really like her to have this cause she likes music, and she must like this. Somemore, We can listen to nice music everytime we travel back to Kuala Lumpur.

I'm still considering both options, and also the "Asset/Liability" thought... but Christmas is near, and I have to act faster. I am going to look for more info after this Friday, after I sat for one of my MCSD papers.
