A chat with my landlord

My landlord is chatting with me last nite...

I was traveling back to Penang from my hometown Kuala Lumpur after spending my holiday weekend over there. Reach my room around 10 p.m. and my landlord was home about the same time. He's such a talkative person, probably due to his sales and marketing oriented business...
What am I thinking: Luckily my landlord is a very friendly guy... otherwise I would not like to go back sleeping "in the same house (but different room)" with my enemy.

As soon as he stepped into the house, he starts telling me that he's going to fix the wall outside my room with artistic tiles... so that the property can be sold for higher price.
What am I thinking: Oh then it will be a few day of mess I have to live in... imagine they're drilling outside and all the cement mixture. I'm afraid I have to get ready my mop and do some exercise soon... [-(

He told me that he's planning to sell the appartment unit somewhere next year, to get a bigger and nicer unit... since now his career is picking up fast and he can afford a better house.
What am I thinking: My reflex... I was thinking of buying it... hahaha, I was probably dreaming, but if he is selling at price RM120 - RM140, why not? But I didn't ask how much he is willing to sell it. The house is nicely renovated, and quite well kept... let's wait and see how much, will tell ya next year.

And he said that he's going to pay the pending maintenance fee (sum RM1600++), since now the management is doing their work to better the apartment facilities.
What am I thinking: The management actually building a border around the swimming pool to prevent flow of dirty water into the pool, which personally I don't think it fixes the problem. What I'm happy with is they are building ceramic tile at the lobby, it looks a lot nicer than the cement floor and cement wall. But anyway, it's good to know that he's paying the maintenance fee cause I can start using the squash court to exercise with my cocowife again. Also, if he cleared the pending payment, it will be more "plus" side to my ""buying the house" thought... again, I'm just dreaming.
